Mario Kart on Wii - Tried and Tested! by Jumpin Diablo: 05-04-2008 18:18:13

Mario Kart on Wii Tried and Tested. Today I was lucky enough to play against 3 other players at GAME in a competition for a chance to win a Mini. Simply put the fastest lap down to stay top of the leader board.

The steering wheel with Wii remote fitted is a perfect addition to the game. I would have preferred the steering wheel sensitivity a lot more responsive. I overshot most corners in the Bolder Dasher. Mario Kart in game menus look very similar to the DS Mario Kart game. (No cameras were allowed – Sorry folks, I would if I could)

Lap times on the Luigi Circuit/100cc were in the region of 1:40- 1:50 for first attempts. The top leader board high score was 1:30 (when we left). The game has 32 tracks (16 brand new ones) and 16 familiar circuits taken from other consoles. Buy Wii Mario Kart (In Stock Now)

Mario Kart online is fantastic. With choices of battling or racing and offline is equally as fun and the steering wheel is easy to control surprisingly.

I'm really glad I bought Mario Kart Wii. It is such a lot of fun. I never get tired from playing WFC. I do have Mario Kart DS and some of the courses are in the Wii game. The tracks are revamped tracks from prior Mario Kart games piled into the Wii game. Each course has what console it originated from.

I pre-ordered it before it came out and it costs £34.99 and includes an official Wii Wheel. The Wii Wheel gives it more fun since you are really driving.

In Mario Kart Wii you can unlock characters, vehicles and circuits. The items are also a little different and you can even play people around the world.

Competitions are already active to achieve the fastest time in the World on the Mario Kart Circuit.
